    If you're in Hertford looking for some coffee or tea or even a nice lunch, but not looking to go to one of the popular chain coffee shops, then this is your place.

    I was looking for a place for a nice desserty-snack sort of thing when I was walking through the centre of town and this was just the right place. I had the chocolate log since it was so close to Christmas, and it definitely satisfied my craving for something sweet.

    There is ground floor seating with two more levels above that. We were able to get a seat by the window on the second level (or was it technically a mezzanine, not sure). The staff here are very friendly. They had some great options for sandwiches, weren't serving them later in the afternoon. I would definitely love to stop here for a sandwich lunch next time I'm in Hertford.
